New website keeps tracking the achievements of the World Bank Group of progress on 12 development goal contribute to ending extreme poverty and promote common prosperity.
A year ago, the President of the World Bank for developing countries group (Jim Yong Kim) pledged that does the following: will the bank group changes to provide better services; and will be less bureaucratic; and will bring together more than evaluative opinions of the citizens who are affected by their projects; and will measure the success of their programs more effectively. Following the example model of the Malaysian government and other, (Kim) established a unit to provide services in order to help setting goals and monitor progress made.
And now, will be the launch of a new website to provide instant views on how to perform Bank Group through the continuous update of the results as soon as new data is available. PDU.worldbank.org is a website in order to achieve a twelve targets, which reflect the priorities of the World Bank about the development partners and the overall objectives which are supported by Bank are: “end extreme poverty by 2030, and promote common prosperity to slice at least forty percent of income in developing countries.”
The aim of the first twelve objectives is to increase the impact of development, by reducing the time span, for example, that it takes delivery of a development project by one-third, and increased financial support to 50 percent for poor areas vulnerable conflict-affected, and enhance transparency by drawing geographical maps for all projects investment by 2015, so as to facilitate identification of the Bank’s work sites and the quality of this work.
